All proceeds will be donated to international organizations supporting those affected by violence, discrimination, armed conflict, and poverty. Daido Moriyama
Photographer/Daido Moriyama | Moriyama was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1938. After assisting Takeji Iwamiya and Eikoh Hosoe, he became a freelance photographer in 1964. He has exhibited his work around the world and has published numerous photo books, including Japan: A Photo Theater, Farewell Photography, and his Record series.
"I see photography as memory. What the self remembers, what the subject remembers, what the people who see it remembers, it’s all memory. My photos are a way of seeing things, and perhaps a way of holding things for later."
